Want to launch a presence on Twitter for your company? Need help setting up a fan page on Facebook? Or do you want to figure out exactly which social tools (if any) are best for your company? Here are the social media consulting services I offer:
1 – Social media strategy audit – This is for companies that want to determine what their social media strategy should be, moving forward. I’ll evaluate your existing resources, as well as your industry and what your competitors are doing, and help you decide which (if any) social tools you should be using to reach your business objectives. The big advantage to this service is that you get an accurate audit of where you are right now, and what you need to do to move forward. This also means that you don’t pay for services you don’t need such as launching a blog, when it actually makes more sense for you to be using Twitter instead. It is HIGHLY recommended that this service be combined with my social media engagement service.
2 – Social media engagement – With this service, I show you how to accurately monitor and track company mentions, as well as mentions of key executives, industry-specific terms, and those of your competitors. Once your monitoring system is in place, I’ll then train you on how to properly engage customers on blogs or Twitter (or elsewhere) that are discussing your company. This service is often combined with other social media and blog consulting services, and is considered the ‘backbone’ of any solid social media strategy.
3 – Social media strategy implementation – With this service, we take your existing social media strategy, and improve upon it, or help you launch a completely new strategy. This service is often an extension of my social media strategy assessment service. It could include helping you launch a blog, or a Twitter presence, a page on Facebook, or often a combination of tools. But the tools used will be in line with your existing business and communication goals and resources.
4 – Social media mentoring – This service is for a company that needs occasional advisement on their continuing social media strategy, but can do most of the ‘heavy-lifting’ themselves. This gives you access to my help/advisement on an ‘as-needed’ basis, which means you pay less.
But what if you aren’t sure what you need?
If your company would like to explore using social media, but aren’t sure how to get started, I would recommend we start with doing an assessment of your current situation, as detailed in my Social Media Strategy assessment. This way we can accurately determine which social tools you should be using, instead of assuming that you need a blog, when maybe you shouldn’t be blogging. This obviously saves you time and money, because you’ll only commit to the strategy and tools that make sense for your unique situation.
